LABOR is a Seoul-born eyewear brand founded by Joomyoung Song, a designer whose career spans more than two decades across design, architecture and visual culture. Joomyoung studied at the Design School of Kookmin University in Seoul, one of South Korea’s leading design institutions, where he later returned to teach.

For over 20 years, he has led Habitant Studio, creating and shaping digital environments across international cities including Singapore, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Milan and Seoul. This experience has shaped LABOR’s distinctive approach to eyewear, combining precision, attention to detail and sophisticated minimalist design.

Rather than following trends, LABOR creates carefully considered frames designed as tools for self-expression—enhancing the wearer’s personality without overshadowing it. At its heart is the belief that objects should serve the individual, with design that is purposeful, understated and made to leave a lasting impression.
