Making fashion visible

Imagine waking up to the news that roses, orchids, and lilies have been declared the only truly beautiful flowers in the world—and that all other flowers have been quietly pushed aside.
It would be a very sad world.

Of course, roses, orchids, and lilies are stunning. But we love all flowers—and we want them all to bloom.

Fashion is facing a similar reality today. With rising marketing costs and gradually reducing wholesale opportunities, many designers find it difficult to maintain visibility and independence.

At Designers Direct, we’re working to support a more inclusive and sustainable future for fashion—one where creativity isn’t limited to those with large marketing budgets or corporate backing.

We provide designers with the infrastructure they need to sell and ship safely and compliantly to most countries in the world—without the headaches of running a standalone web-store, registering for VAT in multiple countries, or managing cross-border logistics. All for the same cost as running their own DTC web-store; but without the hassle and marketing expenses.

- We make global commerce accessible and straightforward, while letting designers stay focused on what they love and do best: creating fashion.

And for customers, we open the door to discovering unique designers who may not otherwise ship to your country.

Fashion, like nature, thrives in diversity—and we’re here to help keep every flower flourishing.

Our
founder’s international legal and trade leadership from GE, paired with firsthand fashion insights from her designer sister who worked for Dior and Givenchy, and has now founded her own brand, has shaped a platform that truly understands and supports designers’ needs.

Backed by the Norwegian State Fund for Innovation, which operates offices in 25 countries, Designers Direct draws on this network to offer localized support to our designers and customers. This helps us run and maintain an objective and reliable global operation that combines the expertise, know-how, and strength of a major conglomerate; with the flexibility and personal touch of a start-up.
