HEMRICOURT
HEMRICOURT was founded by Sarah de Grunne in 2021.
Trained at the prestigious La Cambre School of Visual Arts in Brussels, she honed her expertise within the Parisian luxury houses Lanvin, Cacharel, Kenzo and Hermès.
After years in the industry, Sarah de Grunne chose a more personal direction: creating a brand built for women and real life. HEMRICOURT offers a wardrobe of essential pieces, contemporary, elegant, and relaxed, designed to be worn often, lived in, and relied upon. The brand’s signature is quiet confidence: strong cuts, clean lines, and precise proportions that feel effortless rather than forced. Vintage references, especially the attitude of the ’70s and ’90s, appear as lasting codes, paired with a restrained Americana undercurrent that brings ease and practicality.
HEMRICOURT is shaped by Sarah’s way of observing her surroundings and the objects within them: Growing up around her art curating grandfather’s collection of exceptional art, she learned to read objects from an early age: their proportions, their weight, and the small imperfections that make them special. This cultivated her eye for subtle detail, elegance and balance that would later translate into her work in fashion: She explores the tension between the lived-in character of vintage and the exceptional quality and perfection she adopted at leading fashion houses. Each piece is built around proportion, silhouette, and movement with exact precision, so it lives easily on the body while remaining impeccably finished.
